NEETS - Not in Education Employment or Training
The learner will start their journey by receiving a ILP, (individual learning plan) and have a meeting with the course tutor along with an induction.
The learner’s also have a choice of 6 ASDAN taster courses,
- Land based
- Food and nutrition
- Sports and fitness
These tasters will run alongside an employability Entry Level 3 City and Guilds certificated course.
The learner will also have the option to progress onto apprenticeships, traineeships, voluntary work placements, further education and employment.
Concept Training is a training provider that has the facilities to deliver hands on construction courses with the learners as well!
This will include,
- Constructing brick walls
- Constructing a tee halving joint
- Laying a gravel path
- Tiling a wall
- Patch plastering
- Laying Paving blocks and slabs
This will be delivered in house, by construction experts at our newly developed workshops and building facility.
Finally we have I.M.P.A.C.T – Individual, Motivation, Physical, Academic, Confidence, Training.
At Impact we deliver a 13 week intensive training course preparing 16 – 24 year olds for entry into the Military or Uniformed Public Services.
Delivered by experts, with a military background, the course helps to improve physical fitness; personal development and communication skills
Statistics show that there is an 85% – 90% success in candidates being selected for the Armed Forces with the remaining candidates going into other employment.
The reputation of Impact amongst the Armed Forces is extremely good. Candidates going for selection, that have been on the Impact course are recognisable as quality candidates who are prepared for the selection process and know what to expect.
We deliver 3 x 13 week courses per year based at our offices in Ashford, the course are delivered by military experts with over 20 years in the British armed forces.
This will include employability and Asdan certificates for uniformed services, being food wise and sports & fitness depending on the course the learner has chosen.
